Event Description
Celebrate Miracle on Main Street in historic downtown Westminster. Festivities begin at the Westminster Family Fitness Center from 12 PM- 4 PM for Santa’s Treat. Santa’s Treat is a free children’s event filled with games, crafts and face painting. Festivities continue with the one mile Jingle Bell Run taking off down Main Street at 4:55 PM, followed immediately by the annual Holiday Electric Parade. After the parade, carol and countdown to the City’s ceremonial tree lighting in Locust Lane. Immediately following the Tree Lighting Ceremony, join Santa and Mrs. Claus in City Park for a magical light display complete with visits with Santa, firepits and a hot cocoa bar!

How Can You Help?
The City of Westminster Recreation and Parks is seeking volunteers on Saturday, November 30, 2024, from 11:30 AM- 4:30 PM for Santa’s Treat, 2:30 PM- 5:30 PM for the Holiday Electric Parade, and 5:30 PM- 9:30PM for the City Park Light Display.

Volunteer opportunities include:

Santa’s Treat: Themed Craft Stations, Themed Game Stations

Holiday Electric Parade (18+ Only): Parade Line-Up and Traffic Control

City Park Light Show: Lightshow Host/Hostess, Firepit Host/Hostess, Hot Cocoa Station

Where do volunteers report?
Volunteer check-in will be emailed to you the week prior to the event- location varies based off volunteer the shift/area registered. All volunteers must check-in and check-out to be credited volunteer hours for the volunteer incentive program. Parking can be found in the Longwell Garage and the Longwell Surface Parking Lot.
